Only 90mins.drive from Bordeaux, Bergerac or Limoges airports all with car hire available & cheap flights via RyanAir,BA,BMI etc.
Fast,comfortable Eurostar & highspeed TGV take you from Waterloo railstation to Angouleme where car hire is available.
The cheapest ferry crossing (from £50return) is Dover to Calais/Boulogne followed by a 6hr.toll motorway drive or the dearer overnight Portsmouth to St.Malo/Caen route + 3hr.toll motorway drive
