About Weather/Climate/TemperatureTenerife enjoys a year round climate of sunshine, temperatures range from 20-35 degrees C. It is on the same latitude as Florida, and a four hour flight almost guarantees sunshine.Occasionally windy but always warm. The climate provides a natural habitat for lush exotic plants, and locally grown produce and fruits all year round which can be bought in the colourful local markets. About BarsOn the seafront overlooking the wild pebbly beach are a range of small ethnic bars and restaurants. These are within walking distance of the apartment, a small relaxed bar fronts the marina on the waters edge. Pinehurst has a small intimate bar by the pool, shaded by a rush canopy, serving local dishes of langoustines and paella. Trips to the mountain village of Masca selling honey and cacti icecream. Nearby trips on boats for Tuna fishing and deep water large game-fishing can be arranged.About Scenery/Beauty SpotsThe view from the apartment as the sun sets over the hills towards Silencio is beautiful, and it is possible to take a walk along the coast passing cacti, black rocks and a secluded nudist beach. In the car inland towards Teide is spectacular and the mountain can be seen from the village. The journey to Masca provides a breathtaking view across the sea to Gomera, and the villge itself is most picturesque.About Local RestaurantsLos Abrigos, a small fishing harbour boasts perhaps the best fish restaurants in Tenerife, in a romantic setting close to the water and the small fishing boats is only a ten minute drive away. In Amarillo there is a choice of restaurents from Chinese, Spanish and English all walking distance from the apartment.
