Property Description

There is a superb view on the sea, looking out to the island of Saint Vincent. Two beaches, one shaded, exist about five minutes and 10 minutes walk respectively. The chalet contains a verandah, two single beds which can be pushed to make a double bed, a good stock of Caribbean books and a kitchen with coffee maker, hot plate for light cooking, a fridge and a freezer. There is a round table in the main room and two chairs on the verandah. We provide a bottle of wine on arrival. The nearest good restaurant is about 10 minutes drive away. There is a supermarket in the village and larger hypermarkets about 10 minutes drive away. Canoe trips and horse riding is available on request.

Local Area Information

There is a jazz festival once a year. As noted canoe trips and horse riding is available on request. About 40 minutes drive is Soufriere where there is a drive in volcano and the sulphur springs. About 15 minutes drive is Vieux-Fort where you can rent a canoe to take you to the Maria islands, site of a lizard which is unique to this island of Saint Lucia.
