Property Description

This cosily decorated 19thcentury cottage is a short walk from the beach and harbour and is convenient for all the facilities of this picturesque fishing village. It has a small enclosed gardenwith wooden decking and BBQ. There is off-road parking in the private drive. All rooms are fitted with storage radiators.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot high chair and Z-bed available. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Downstairs there is a Lounge with an open fire, TV, Freeview, VCR, DVD and stereo. A selection of books and games are provided.
The Dining Room has open beams and stripped wood floor.
The fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge and full range of equipment.

Upstairs there is a Double Bedroom with double bed and a second large Bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed. A spacious bathroom leads off this room This has a bath a shower above bath with screen, WC, wash hand basin and airing cupboard.

There is also a second toilet outside.

Local Area Information

Porthleven is an old fishing village situated on the south Cornish coast It has a harbour with a long beach running down the coast to Loe Bar and the pool which is linked by legend to King Arthur. The many coves and beaches in the area make it an ideal base for family holidays

The village has a choice of old pubs, shops and restaurants, together with local craft workshops and galleries.
The SW Coastal Path runs through the village.
Falmouth, Penzance, St. Ives, St. Michaels Mount, Flambards theme park, Gweek seal sanctuary, many other beaches and the renowned Minack Theatre are all within very easy reach.
The Eden Project is also within driving distance.
