About FishingAcross the road from the chalet is a three acre carp fishing lake with toilet facilities, set in a tranquil and beautiful environment. The deepest point of the lake is 5ft, it is spring fed with sand margins, carp weight up to 40 lb.About FerriesWe are 40 minutes drive from ferry port Cherbourg and 60 minutes drive from Caen. We can offer a 20% discount on Brittany Ferry crossings from the UK.

Local Area Information

Also at Raynbowend we have a 3 acre carp fishing lake, day tickets available. We are located in a rural area, it is a five minute walk to the small village of Meautis where there is a friendly bar that is also a grocery and a pattisserie. The nearest town is Carentan ten minutes away where there are excellent restaurants and bars, also there is a newly built indoor swimming pool, a further 20 minutes away in St Lo is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool well worth the visit for the day for all the family. There are many places to visit for the family, i.e. fun park, zoos, caves, war museums etc.We have beaches 20 minutes either side of us some with water sports. Also well worth the visit are the fishing villages with excellent quayside restaurants.
