Forest Cottages is a family run self catering holiday business, and also the home of Paul and Michelle Martin and their two young children. There is a play area for children, a timber fort, a games room, a tennis court and ample parking. Wifi is available.

Forest Cottage – sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms

Master bedroom has a double iron bedstead, wardrobe with drawers. original iron fireplace.
Twin room has 2 pine single beds, a wardrobe and chest of drawers, original iron fireplace.
Both have large sash windows looking out over the garden
Bathroom and separate shower room.
Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and built in electric oven and hob.
Utility room with a washing machine shared with Forest Keep.
An archway connects the sitting and dining rooms with solid oak flooring throughout. Dining room includes an ornate Edwardian fireplace and a bay window which looks out into the garden. Sitting room has a wood burning stove and satellite TV.
Connecting doors link the cottage to Forest Keep if required for larger groups.

The Forest Cottages is close to great walks at the Kerry Ridgeway Offas Dyke and Glyndwrs Way Montgomery with its castle ruins and the medieval Powis Castle are close by and there are steam railways and canals to explore There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful area of The Marches including walking cycling golf horse riding castles to explore and pretty villages and towns The Forests central location and good road links makes it an ideal base with easy driving to Welshpool Shrewsbury Chester Ludlow Machynlleth and Builth Wells Slightly further away lie the beautiful Brecon Beacons the breathtaking Snowdonia and the beaches of Cardigan Bay
