In 2006, after being neglected for many years, the renovation of the old farm workers cottage called the Bothy was completed. Using energy saving solar panels and under floor heating it has been renovated to provide high quality self-contained 4 star luxury accommodation.

On the ground floor it has a sitting area and extremely well appointed kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher and oak breakfast bar. The sitting area has a flat screen digital TV with DVD and CD player. A selection of DVD's and CD's are provided. A new high quality sofa opens into a queen size fully sprung sofa bed. Guests have the use of a Washer/Dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided. Fresh flowers decorate the room and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, home baked bread, butter, milk, juice and fresh eggs from our own hens await you on your arrival.

Upstairs the exposed beams and oak floors make the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom the perfect place for a peaceful nights sleep. A hair dryer, dressing gowns, and a range of Gilchrest and Soames toiletries are supplied for your enjoyment.

The layout of the building is one up one down. The accommodation is ideally suited for 1 or 2 Adults or a couple with 1 or 2 small children. We do not recommend the accommodation for families with grown up children.
