Property Description

The studio forms part of a 12th century village house based in a quiet location in the centre of the village. It has its own entrance and consists of a studio with kitchen/dining area, the lounge area has an easily convertable large sofabed. There is a separate shower, toilet, washing machine and a three place jacuzzi.

The studio also has a balcony with views of the valley. There is a table and chairs which forms a seating area, large enough for two to eat outside. Directly beneath the balcony, there is a small garden with table, chairs and barbecue. The garden only receives the morning sun, so is a shady area to sit in the afternoon or evening.

All the village facilities are in easy walking distance of the house. The house for two years running had been placed Second, in the Fleurir le Var, (departmental flower festival), and was placed First in 2004.

Living area: The sofa seats four people and easily converts to a double bed, stereo system, TV and video, electric coal effect fire.

Bathroom: Shower, toilet, washing machine and three place Jacuzzi.

Outside: Balcony overlooking the valley, two chairs and a table. Small garden also with chairs and a table and barbecue.

Suitability: Non smoking only, suitable for elderly, infirm and babies. We have a wheelchair that can be supplied on request. Sorry no pets.

Local Area Information

Regusse is situated in the Parc Natural Regional du Verdon. It is 9km from Aups; a 15-20 min. drive from the Lac St. Croix and Gorges du Verdon and approximately 1.5 hours drive from Nice and Marseile airports. The village has a number of small shops including a butcher, baker, small supermarket, hairdresser and gift shop, plus a library with Internet access. There is a small market on Sunday mornings with Wednesday and Saturday being the market days in the nearby town of Aups. From November to March, there is also a truffle market on Thursday mornings in Aups.

Regusse also has two municipal swimming pools, one being a childrens' pool, and there are tennis courts available to use. The pool is open in July and August, but the tennis courts can be used all year round. There is a restaurant and a snack bar in the main village, plus a snack bar next to the swimming pool. This can be used by swimmers and non-swimmers.

About 1km outside the village is a campside and in the summer months there are two more restaurants, plus many activities that can be used by non-residents of the site.
