Property Description
Our holiday Park is located in a native bush setting adjacent to a large sandy estuary. We have tent and caravan sites, cabins which are serviced by communal facilities and self contained motels. There is fishing nearby in the estuary and also the nearby Karamea River. Birdlife is abundant and the park plays host to many native pidgeons, tuis, and bellbirds.
Local Area InformationKaramea is abundant in native bush and beautiful walks. The Heaphy track is very popular and has a Nikau Palm Walk. The Oparara Basin has 3 limestone arches , one of which is the largest in Australasia. The scenery at these is magic. There are also guided tours to the Honeycomb Caves which is complete with Moa bones and an amazing labyrinth of passages.
