Brae Fell is an imaginative conversion of a large ancient barn which simply oozes character. The ground floor has a spacious dining room for eight, with a fully equipped pine kitchen alongside (including dishwasher and freezer).
The internal stairs lead directly up to a charming living room with impressive old beams and exposed stone walls. Adjacent to the living room is a second smaller dining area ideal for children's teas or board games.

There are two self-contained bedroom suites, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a private hallway leading to a double room, a twin room and a bathroom

Monkhouse Hill lies in the foothills of the North Lakes Fells against the backdrop of those higher peaks and with magnificent 30 mile views over the Eden Valley. Our location also makes is ideally suited for visiting the three centres of Keswick, Penrith and Carlisle, and for day trips to the Southern Lakes, Hadrians Wall and Southern Scotland.
