Property Description

Two one bedroom apartments one above the other in a small block of six apartments which overlooks a spectacular view of a nature reserve and the sea. The ground apartment has a small garden and the apartment directly above it has a small balcony. Each apartment consists of one twin-bedded bedroom with bathroom ensuite, a lounge/living room with a television (basic SKY in English programmes), DVD player, video recorder and radio.

There is also a small kitchenette separated from the living room by a breakfast bar. The kitchen consists of a fridge with small freezer container, microwave, three gas rings, sink and drainer unit plus cupboards containing plates, cutlery, glasses and pots and pans etc. The utility rooms just outside the apartments contain cleaning materials and ironing boards. Both apartments have irons and hairdryers. Bedding, sheets and towels are provided. Gas, water and electricity are included in the very reasonable rent.

In addition, there is a travelling cot and baby chair which attaches to a table, in the garden apartment, for families with babies and/or toddlers. The baby chair is portable and can be taken and used in restaurants if required.

Local Area Information

The quiet little village of San Vicente is ideal for a getaway break - only one hour's drive from the Airport.

There are six restaurants in the village, each very different in style and character and within 4 - 5 minutes walking distance from the apartments. Visit the Villa Nueva for very good food and friendly service. The owner, Jose, speaks excellent English.

La Tasca, opposite Carpios the village pizzeria, is also a very good restaurant for steak and is very reasonably priced.

Things to Do -

For the walker/climber there are spectacular walks in the forests and mountains.

For the swimmer there are beaches and a local swimming pool just 10 mins drive from the apartment. Also in Punta Brava and Puerto there are many places and beaches to choose from.

Socorro Beach is just down the road by car or ½ hour's walk from the apartment. This is a good beach for surfing.

For the nature lover try a boat trip from Los Gigantes to see whales and dolphins. En route these boats anchor in Masca Bay to allow a swim in the spectacular blue sea.

Just below the apartments there is a nature reserve for walking which goes right down to the sea. There are many different birds here including canaries.

There are plenty of lovely shops in Puerto de la Cruz for the shopper and La Orotava is also a very good place to shop.

If you just want to relax in the sun try the sun terrace on the roof of the apartments for maximum exposure - watch out for sunburn!
