A beautifully modernised and fully furnished cave-house in the heart of stunning unspoilt countryside. Hewn from the rock and set on the edge of the small village of Fuente Nueva, near Orce, and with far reaching views to the mountains, the cave-house is in a wonderful location. Inside the ceilings are high and the rooms are airy and spacious, with most having natural light.
The cave has two double bedrooms, two sitting-rooms (one with open fire), dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Outside is a good-sized garden with mature trees for shade, a table and chairs and a barbecue area.
The surrounding scenery is very varied, ranging from semi-desert, scrub-covered hills, cut through by fertile irrigated valleys, to high mountain ranges whose lower slopes are clad in vast pine forests.
Road access is excellent considering the untouched nature of the region. The cave is about about 1½ hours from Granada airport and around 2 hours from Almeria, Alicante and Murcia San Javier airports.

Shops bars restaurants and banks can be found in Orce as well as in Huescar and Maria There are several natural parks in the area where the possibilities for walking picnicking and observing the wildlife are virtually limitless Anyone interested in archaeology will find plenty to occupy them with the village and area famous for its archaeological finds There is a Moorish castle in Orce which often houses art exhibitions as well as a fascinating museum in the Segura Palace The towns in the region have numerous fiestas one of the most interesting being Orces two week long cultural festival in August The historic city of Granada is around one a half hours drive away Well worth a visit for its elegant squares winding streets Granada also boasts the world famous Alhambra with its wonderfully preserved palace and the beautiful gardens Above the city is the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada Less than half an hour away from the cavehouse the dramatically sited castle at Velez Blanco has splendid views and all the towns in the region offer street cafes and bars to sit and watch the world go by
